In addition to 47 overnight accommodations, the clubhouse consists of two restaurants, a squash and fitness center, Library & Business Center, and features over 9,000 square feet of unique private meeting and event space where we proudly host 150+ events for our membership and 1200+ private events for our members each year.

OUR HISTORY

The Club was founded in 1866 as the Princeton Alumni Association of New York. It was re-organized in 1886 as the Princeton Club of New York. The Club had four previous homes in Manhattan before settling into its current clubhouse  in March of 1963 at 15 West 43rd Street. During the years that followed, the Club saw a steady increase in membership and an expansion of cultural and ethnic diversity.

The Clubhouse is home not only to Princetonians but an equally large percentage of alumni from other academic institutions.  Relationships created by alumni through graduate work and specialized practices in law, medicine and business have extended the Club's reach to a select group of other prestigious schools providing a broader network for personal and professional growth.

Today, the Princeton Club, home to 7,500 members, nicknamed PCNY to represent its diverse make up of members, is home to alumni from Columbia University, NYU, London School of Economics, George Washington University, Williams, Fordham, and McGill to name just a few.  Please visit our Associate School page for more information.
